She has authored and published four books, the titles of which are, "For Christians who are Seriously Dating or would like to Be (2004), "Is God a Chauvinist? The Bible and Women (2002), " "What the Bible really says about Slavery (2000)," and The Trouble with Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam (1997)." Dodds is certified in Advanced Church Ministry through the Evangelical Christian Association and is also Certified in Ministry through the Faith Center for Christian Education. She has a Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology both of which were obtained from Wayne State University where she graduated with Honors.
