I could not of done it without the author doing the math on how they were created. What she saw in Palestine totally changed her outlook. My grandfather was an iron worker on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge (the old bridge which I think is gone now and a new bridge lives.)
This wonderful book of photographs has all kinds of bridges and each seems to be unique in its location. A forgotten all star woman, a real woman with a real life. Pins, Pez dispensers, drawings and crafts are all on parade in this book sure to spark ideas on how family members can express themselves while keeping a home that is stylish and enjoyed by all.. The author weaves a rich informative history of Dorothy's era. Many of these beautiful photographs show bridges that are no longer existent. I am buying a 2nd copy of this book today! My first copy motivated me to paint a Cosmati guilloche in a 52 foot long frieze 4 feet tall, using 17 round mirrors as eyelets. Highly recommended.. Thompson is now
