While the early chapter headings are kind of expected of any beginner's guides, they do still contain valuable nuggets. Her drawings are almost impossibly detailed, so this isn't like a normal coloring book. Sweeney writes a motivating and compelling book. The entire book is full of helpful anecdotes from post-graduate and current college students. Save the money and order Josh McDowell's presentation from Focus on the Family for $5. Although it's titled "Beginner's Guide", the target group definitely isn't restricted to beginners. Service was excellent. Reminded me of some of my late 80s teen years in the S.F. I do feel however that Parlour/Arsenal fans would probably get more out of reading it than just fans of the game due to the balance between life and sport as depicted.
